Ingelvac MycoFLEX^® is well tolerated

Better tolerated than two-shot vaccine²³

In a side by side field trial involving 1250 pigs, 1158 were vaccinated with either Ingelvac MycoFLEX^® or a commercially available two-shot M hyo vaccine, and 92 left as sentinel pigs. A greater incidence of adverse events (both local and systemic) was recorded in pigs vaccinated with the two-shot vaccine.²³

The excellent tolerance of Ingelvac MycoFLEX^® is consistent with that shown extensively with Ingelvac CircoFLEX^® which utilises the same ImpranFLEX^® adjuvant system.

Better tolerated than alternative one-shot vaccine²⁴

In a field trial involving 1832 weaned pigs, the willingness of vaccinated pigs to approach a human operator before vaccination was compared with that after vaccination with Ingelvac MycoFLEX^® or a commercially available one-shot M hyo vaccine.²⁴ The consumption of feed up to 48 hours post-vaccination was also used to compare the tolerability of vaccination with Ingelvac MycoFLEX^® or the alternative one-shot vaccine.²⁴

Both willingness to approach and feed consumption decreased significantly more in pigs that had received the alternative vaccine than in those given Ingelvac MycoFLEX^®.
